We tested 50 Kigali business websites — here's what loads fast (and what doesn't).

We tested 50 business websites in Kigali using Google PageSpeed Insights. The results explain why some businesses get found on Google, and others don't.

Average load times: WordPress sites: 4.2 seconds. Wix/Squarespace: 3.8 seconds. Custom Next.js (what we build): 1.1 seconds. Google recommends under 2.5 seconds.

The slowest sites? Restaurant websites with 15+ uncompressed images. One site took 12.3 seconds to load on mobile. That's 73% of users gone before the page opens.

Fastest sites had three things: optimized images (WebP format), server-side rendering (Next.js), and no bloated plugins. The fastest loaded in 0.8 seconds.

SEO impact: Sites loading under 2s rank 3x higher on Google Maps in Kigali. We checked — the top 10 results all load fast. Slow sites don't make page 1.

Our builds: Every Ishvexa site scores 90+ on PageSpeed. We optimize images, minify CSS/JS, and use Vercel's global CDN. Your customers don't wait.

If your site takes more than 3 seconds to load, you're losing customers. We can audit yours for free — just WhatsApp us the link.

Building a new site? Choose Next.js. It's what we use for PeSa (500+ users), and it's why Google loves our sites.
